Recycling FAQ’s

Q. How much do you pay for scrap metal?

A. Metal prices fluctuate constantly, therefore we don’t post them online. For the most up-to-date pricing, please contact us at (253) 536-2260

Q. What metals do you accept?

A. We accept most types of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap. Check out our “what we buy” page for a more complete list of what we buy. Contact us with any inquiries about any specific metals.

Q. What do you not accept for recycling?

A. We cannot accept any non-metal for recycling. We will also not accept any hazardous materials, not limited to:
• Closed containers
• Fluids
• Flammable materials
• Radioactive materials
• Refrigerants

Q. Why is metal recycling so important?

A. Metals that can no longer be used for their original purpose are sold and processed to make new items that are usable. Metal can be recycled over and over again. Recycling means less mining, less depletion of precious resources, less waste in landfills and less energy used.

Q. Do you pick up household recycling?

A. We only provide pick-up service for large commercial and industrial customers. We do, however, encourage residential scrap customers to drop off materials at our convenient Tacoma location, during regular business hours. Your goods will be weighed, and you will be paid cash on the spot.

Q. Can I recycle my Flux Capacitor?

A. We are currently not able to process an item that requires 1.21 gigawatts of power. Please check back for future updates.
